In 1979, the co-founder of Sony launched the design of walkman because he wanted to learn opera out of the theatre. In 1980, the Casio Keyboard T1 was the first sinthesizer commercial that we remind in Barcelona, from our childhood in the 80s.
I have been working in 2021 about the memory of the transition from analogic to digital world, done in the 80s of XX century during my childhood, as born the last year of Generation X, with soundtracks from the movies I liked Michael Ende, the Never Ending Story and Momo, TV Series Fame (1982-1987)as well as with classic music from Tchaikovski, Albinoni and Ravel, that I performed in my childhood, in urban suburbs Barcelona, Ripollet, performing on abstract paintings of Joan Miró. For this reason, I have done an art research to create a short film, now in postproduction, soon, in the screen.
However, to record movements with the camera is often done by the director, in my case I choose to explain the gaze of the performer, using myself the camera to film while dancing and performing.
